Cassini Ice

The Italian astronomer, Giovanni Cassini, theorized that the sun orbits around the Earth on an oval-shaped plane. Patterned after this orbital shape, Cassini patent leather is rich in texture and produced through a series of modern finishing systems. Debossing, hand burnishing, and color glazing techniques are employed to create an iridescent luster reminiscent of diamonds in the rain.
